Learning languages is for everyone. On the Internet, some teachers try to convey the idea that learning a language is only attainable through a very specific pathway (that is, only possible by hiring them), including "a right way" to pronounce things and "the right accent". Bullshit.

There are dozens of accents for a given language, one for each region of the world where there are speakers of such language. (One could even say that there are different accents for each single speaker!)  You don't have to think too much nor too hard in order to learn how to speak a new language. Just learn the basics and start practicing. You'll get better. 

Of course, that's easier said than done, and that's why I'm here. To help you sort the details out and feel more confident when practicing your still imperfect language skills. So, relax and read on! (And don't forget to practice, however insecurely, along the way!)
